Located in the friendly rural town of Murchison, which sits on the four rivers plain next to the Buller River in between Nelson and Westport.

All of our trips meet and depart from our base here on Fairfax Street in Murchison. From our base here, it is only a 7 min drive to our Ariki Falls rafting put in. A 15 min drive up stream to our Family Rafting section and Buller River Kayaking section.

Come on in and have a chat with our team, they can also point you in the right direction of bush walks, bike rides, fishing spots, pass on information on Kahurangi and the Nelson Lakes National Parks and or other activities and accommodation in the area.

The Four Rivers Plain gains its name from the Mangles, Matiri and the Matakitaki rivers joining the Buller River on the small plain that Murchison sits on. This is all part of the largest free flowing catchment of water in New Zealand, thus we have good water all year round.

At the moment our base in manned daily from September through to May. (New Zealand's spring, summer and autumn)
Our winter season June, July and August sees us still out there, on the phones and running trips on demand.
