RAFTING the ULTIMATE whitewater
From it’s source at Lake Rotoiti the Buller River flows West gaining strength from the many tributaries along the way. At the Four Rivers Plain near Murchison, the Buller gets a boost from the Matakitaki, Matiri and Mangles Rivers, taking on a BIG water feel as it enters the Upper Buller Gorge.
Exhilarating whitewater and rugged West Coast scenery make rafting the Buller Gorge an adventure not to be missed. A short drive from our base to the river gives you more time to experience a journey through spectacular granite canyons and deep gorges, for what is undoubtedly the Buller River’s best rafting trip.
The fun is fast and furious through the rapids as the river surges through the confines of the granite gorges. With relaxing pools in between rapids, this allows you to view the lush beech forest on the banks. This exhilarating run thrills both first timers and experienced rafters alike. So come on and join us for an adventure not to be missed.
